The only Coral Museum
in the world is located in Tatsukushi, Tosashimizu City, in southwestern
Shikoku Island. The museum exhibits a variety of coral which are jewels
living in deep waters, and boasts numerous world-class precious coral
collections. A wide variety of coral products are also available at
the museum shop.

This is the first underwater
park established in Japan, and is known for its marvelous
habitats for tropical creatures like hard coral which
creates coral reefs, and tropical fish. The coral reef
called "Shikoro sango" in Minokoshi bay especially
is designated as a national treasure. |
